The Bosnian ibrik is a traditional long-necked pitcher, heavily tied to the country's rich coffee culture. They are traditionally made from forged copper or brass and sometimes lined with tin. Abstract This material chronicles the attempts by Saint Louis University to secure a chapter of the national honor society, Phi Beta Kappa.  The first mention of the University's intention appears in the minutes of the Board of Trustees under the date May 10, 1938.  Reports on the University were sent to the national organization in 1941, 1953, and 1965.  Success finally came in 1967, and the chapter was installed in January, 1968. Scope and Contents This collection consists of the zucchetto of Pope Pius XII, along with a signed card verifying authenticity.Pope Pius XII, born as Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni Pacelli in 1876, served as Pope from 1939 until his death in 1958. Pius XII Memorial Library of Saint Louis University was opened in 1959. This hat, known as a zucchetto, is a skull cap worn by Catholic clergy, with white zucchettos reserved for Popes.
