Zambek was a free periodical published between 1994 and 2008. It was founded by Ismet Berbić and published by the Information Center of Bosnia Herzegovina in Chicago during its first year and then became a independent magazine published monthly until 2008.

Ron Klutho's collection of materials related to Bosnia, the Bosnian Student Project, and the local diaspora. Klutho (Amir Amerikanac to many Bosnians) has worked with refugees in St. Louis in a number of roles. Amassed over more than two decades, the collection includes articles, documents, and a single photograph of a boys' soccer team (undated).

Mostar: Hearts and Stones By Jerrilynn D. Dodds

The graceful 16th-century Ottoman footbridge over the Neretva River in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina came to symbolize an urban history enriched by the interwoven identifies of Muslims, Catholics, Orthodox Christans and Jews. Destroyed in the war in 1993, its rubble is now being dredged from the river, and reconstrucction plans are afoot.
