Publications, 1880 - 1992

This series contains publications collected by Nathan B. Young. The topics of these publications include Black history, civil rights, St. Louis local issues and history, music, events, and education. Many of these publications come from organizations that Young was involved with, such as the St. Louis American newspaper, Sigma Pi Phi fraternity, and several universities in the St. Louis area. These publications have been organized into six subseries: 647-7-1 Newspapers; 647-7-2 Magazines and Newsletters; 647-7-3 Events; 647-7-4 Research materials; 647-7-5 Music; and 647-7-6 Other publications.
